Pathway Overview

This academic Pathway is designed to provide coursework that will prepare any student to pursue a career within the areas of life, physical, or Earth sciences. The courses found in the Science Pathway will allow each student to develop the critical thinking and laboratory skills necessary to be successful in science and in life. Students in this Pathway will learn how to ask questions, develop and use models, plan and conduct investigations, analyze data to construct explanations, argue with the evidence, and communicate both verbally and in writing just like scientists do in their fields. Students choosing this Pathway need to have a strong desire to learn through hands-on, inquiry-based lab activities and projects that will challenge them to apply their knowledge and skills and not just recall facts.
